youtube is a big hit and success. 1,300,000 people watch it today! It was founded by Jawed Karim, Chad Hurley, and Steve Chen in 2005. That’s just all boring stuff, now lets get to the better parts and explore Youtube!
Youtube is a place where you can watch videos videoed by Youtubers! For Youtubers their goals are to get a many suscribers as they can. When people suscribe to them they are saying they love their channel and they will get notifacations saying they posted a new video. If you get a lot of suscribers you could get rich and famous!
When a Youtuber gets to a certain reached number of subscribers, they can get something called a Youtube Play Button. The following picture will show you what one looks like at 1 million subscribers………

I’m going to talk about Youtube in the future. I think that there will be billions of Youtubers word wide. I think also that all the Youtubers will make most of the rich people because everyone is subscribing to them. That’s all I can think of right now so yeah.
Youtube is where there are bunches of videos. There are tutorials, challenges, educational, unboxing, gaming, and a bunch more. Your parents can block certain things on Youtube so you don’t get into anything bad on Youtube. At schools sometimes they don’t block Youtube, but most videos are blocked or Youtube is blocked altogether! In the next paragraph you will learn something that is new but not on Youtube!
Youtube has created something called Youtube Kids. This is another version of Youtube but all the weird and bad videos are not even on there! There are only specific channels on there, and not as many videos as Youtube! I honestly hate it, because they don’t put Youtubers new posts on there! But i’m sure all the parents will suggest it!
On Youtube you have to use some device to take the video. I don’t know how to do it, but this will show you how:
- prepare the file 2.log into your youtube account 3.click the upload button 4.choose a video file 5.click the open or choose button 6. add the details 7.choose privacy settings 8. share the video (if you want)
If you want to become famous, Youtube could be the right thing for you! You just need alot of subscribers and mabey you can make your way to the top! The most popular one right now is- PewDiePie. I have actually never seen his videos.
Why is it called YouTube? The name “YouTube” is actually pretty straightforward. The “You” represents that the content is user generated, created by individual users and not the site itself and “Tube” is a nod toward an older original term for television.
I’m guessing here, but most likely some Youtube videos are scams. So pay attention to what you are looking at, because you could get scammed just from watching a Youtube video!

Back to the topic of Youtube. On Youtube you can comment on their videos. Your parents can block that as well! On Youtube Kids you can’t even comment on there sadly. But sometimes the comments are blocked by Youtube because they are fixing it, so they ask most likely when this happens to comment on their Instagram.
If you start a Youtube channel and aren’t getting a lot of subscribers, here are some theories I made up by myself of how to get more:
- tell your friends about it, and tell them to tell their friends and so on and so forth.
- you can also make more video’s, but make them more interesting and fun, so more people will want to watch it.
- lastly, you could post about it on social media, and people will go to it and subscribe, hopefully!
Another goal of Youtubers I should mention is that they also want lots of followers. When people follow them they are basically saying they want to keep watching their videos and they like it a lot.
On social media you can also follow them to see if they have posted any new videos or if they are doing a giveaway.
